Terms and Conditions

​

• Images must be taken by and owned by the person entering.

• Only 1 entry per person.

• Images may be of a pet, an animal in a zoo or wildlife park or an animal you have seen in the wild. 

• Only images of reptiles or amphibians may be entered. 

• Images must be entered into the correct age group category.

• Prizes are as follows:

1st Prize - A Framed A3 Print of your choice from Nathan Jordan's collection and a voucher for a Keeper for a Day at the National Centre for Reptile Welfare

2nd Prize -  An A4 Print of your choice from Nathan Jordan's collection and a voucher for an animal experience at the National Centre for Reptile Welfare

3rd Prize - An A5 Print of your choice from Nathan Jordan's collection   
 

• All entrances will be displayed on our website, with names and ages, if you do not wish your entry to be displayed, or would prefer it kept anonymous please notify us. 

• Entry closes on the 21st May 2023, any entries made after this date will not be judged. 

• Judging will take place week beginning 22nd of May 2023 by Nathan Jordan and the NCRW Manager Chris Newman. Their decision will be final. 

• Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. 

• Winners will be notified by email by the 28th of May when judging has been completed. 

• Images will be judged on creativity, expressions, colours, location, positioning, subject or any other detail that the judges feel makes the image better than others. There is no set theme, judges will judge each picture individually. 

• Images must not already be sold for money or advertised on platforms such as Canva or Wix. 

• The competition is open to everyone, including students of Hadlow College, Volunteers at the NCRW and members of the public. 

• All entries will be posted on our Social Media Pages, the image with the most likes and shares will receive an NCRW Sponsorship Package and Certificate from the NCRW. 
   

• Entries need to be emailed to us at comp@ncrw.org.uk with your full name, age and confirmation of whether you are happy for your image to posted with your name and age displayed. Please remember to add your age if under 18 so we can add you to the correct category. Please add a subject line of Photography Competition in your email heading so we don't miss any.
